Entra (Project Application System)
The company's staffing process ran on Slack messages and emails with limited visibility, structure, and scale. As Product Owner, I led a cross-functional team of eight to design and deliver Entra: a centralized platform where Business Development Managers (BDMs) submit staffing requests, the staffing team manages them, and employees apply, all in one place. The MVP was deployed in a week and used to place 90+ trainees across Ghana and Rwanda.

The Problem
The company's internal staffing process had no central system. Business Development Managers sent Slack messages and emails, the staffing team tracked requests manually across spreadsheets and Jira, and there was no single source of truth for what had been requested, what was in progress, or what had been filled. As company grew across Ghana and Rwanda, this approach wasn't scaling.

The Solution
Entra is a centralised staffing platform, replacing the fragmented, manual process entirely. BDMs submit structured staffing requests through a validated form. The staffing team manages all incoming requests from a single dashboard with full visibility into status and history. Employees and trainees discover and apply for open roles, with a skills-match score showing their fit before they apply. The platform integrates with company's Resource Management System to ensure staffing data flows into the broader organisational picture without duplication.

Key Outcomes
90+ trainees placed across Ghana and Rwanda — the first time company ran a structured, platform-driven staffing process. Achieved 100% sprint completion rate by Sprint 2 and held that standard through Sprints 3 and 4. Very positive stakeholder feedback from the BDM team, staffing team, and leadership. Prevented duplicated development effort by establishing clear system boundaries with a dependent team before development overlapped.
