The Goal:

Redesign WhatsApp's interface to be fully accessible for users with visual, auditory, motor, and cognitive impairments while maintaining the app's core functionality.

The Challenge:

Creating an inclusive design that serves diverse accessibility needs - from screen reader compatibility for visually impaired users to simplified navigation for cognitive impairments - without compromising the familiar WhatsApp experience for typical users.

The Result

Developed comprehensive accessibility solutions including screen reader-friendly labels, voice message transcriptions, customizable UI themes, simplified navigation patterns, and adaptive input methods that create seamless communication experiences for all user types.
